In Jeremiah’s memory.
Shavon, known as Ladybug Queen, is the founder of Jae Design. She is a mother, grandmother, educator, author, and woman of faith who brings personal meaning to her creativity.
After her son, Jeremiah Allen Ellis, passed away in 2019, Shavon needed something to keep her mind busy and occupied as she faced life without him. Creating designs gave her something to focus on and a way to express the love she will always carry for her son.
In June 2022, she established Jae Design in his memory. Jeremiah, lovingly known as Jae Bandz, is the heart behind the name. The brand carries his memory forward through work created with care, purpose, and love.
Shavon’s love for family, her work in education, and her faith inspire the designs she creates—from colorful teacher shirts and school spirit apparel to uplifting messages, awareness designs, and personalized keepsakes. As the author of The Night My Life Was Shattered Forever, she also shares her experience of loss and the lasting bond between a mother and her son.
